Deployment Systems

Winches: Okeanus’ rental inventory includes a comprehensive and diverse fleet of all-electric and hydraulic multipurpose winches designed to handle any missions, to any depth. Each rental winch is compatible with coax cable, umbilical, synthetic rope, or wire rope. Slip-rings are also available.

LARS & A-Frame Options: Okeanus specializes in designing, engineering, and integrating ruggedized A-Frames and heavy-duty LARS and is equipped to scope a turnkey rental proposal to best fit your deployment. Each package comes with a hydraulic power unit (HPU) and remote control hoses and hardware for mobilization and operation, as well as hydraulic cylinders mounted in skids for rapid mobilization. Autonomous Vehicles

Okeanus continues to invest in the latest autonomous systems designed to establish a new and optimal balance of efficiency and safety in the field. The company owns a portfolio of autonomous surface vehicles (ASVs), including a fleet of highly portable SR-Surveyor M1.8 ASVs specifically designed for running survey lines in hard-to-access or potentially hazardous waters. All ASVs are supplied with a base station, remote interfacing, and cases for transportation. Training is also available.

Survey Essentials

The Okeanus rental portfolio includes a growing array of sonars, echo sounders, sub-bottom profilers, and magnetometers, as well as a of USBLs and beacons to assist fieldwork that demands highly accurate tracking and positioning of underwater assets. For water quality studies, Okeanus is also available to provide CTD (and other ancillary sensors) sampling frames, rosette water samplers, and sediment collection tools (either traditional or ROV deployed).
