Sea-Bird SBE 33 Carousel Deck Unit
The Sea-Bird SBE 33 Carousel, a real-time deck unit, is used in conjunction with the SBE 32 water sampling rosette to record CTD data and fire bottle controls in real-time, giving the operator full control of when and from what depth water samples are collected. The deck unit provides an on-the-fly QA of the CTD data to ensure that the equipment is functioning properly.

Software
The SBE 33 is supplied with a powerful Windows software package, Seasoft© V2, which includes:
- Seaterm© and SeatermV2 ─ terminal programs for easy communication and data retrieval.

- SBE Data Processing© ─ modules for calculation, display, and plotting of temperature, conductivity, pressure, auxiliary sensor data, and derived variables such as salinity and sound velocity.
